This Privacy Policy explains how ScaleBooth collects, uses, stores and shares information when you visit our website, create an account, use the ScaleBooth platform, connect third-party services, or purchase a paid plan.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use ScaleBooth, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, authentication information, business name and account preferences.
- Business knowledge and configuration: website URLs, documents, manually entered facts, services, products, pricing, policies, FAQs, opening hours, locations, brand preferences and agent configuration.
- Conversation and business-context data: messages, leads, contact details, appointment information, channel metadata, outcomes and other information created while the Conversion Agent is operating for your business.
- Integration data: identifiers, authorization data and information exchanged with services you choose to connect, such as messaging channels, calendars, commerce tools, webhooks and email services.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, logs, security events, feature usage, error information and similar operational data.
- Billing information: plan, order, subscription and transaction metadata. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by ScaleBooth.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the platform, operate the Conversion Agent, retrieve business knowledge, deliver connected actions, maintain account and subscription status, provide support, prevent abuse and fraud, diagnose failures, measure product performance and improve ScaleBooth.
Business knowledge and customer conversations may be processed by infrastructure and model providers as necessary to provide the requested AI functionality. We aim to limit processing to what is necessary for the service and to use appropriate contractual and technical protections.
3. Lemon Squeezy and payments
That means Lemon Squeezy handles the checkout transaction, payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT, fraud prevention, refunds and chargebacks associated with those purchases. Information such as your name, email address, billing details, IP address, payment information and transaction data may be collected and processed through Lemon Squeezy's infrastructure.
ScaleBooth receives the order, customer and subscription information needed to activate and manage your plan. We do not need to receive or store your complete payment-card number.

4. Third-party services
ScaleBooth uses service providers and integrations to operate the product. Depending on your configuration, information may be processed by hosting and database providers, AI/model infrastructure, email providers, security and monitoring services, Lemon Squeezy, and services you explicitly connect such as messaging networks, Cal.com, Shopify or automation/webhook destinations.
Connected services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies before enabling an integration.
5. Customer and end-user responsibilities
If you use ScaleBooth to communicate with your own customers or visitors, you are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis to collect and process the information you send to ScaleBooth and for providing any notices or consents required by applicable law. Do not upload or instruct ScaleBooth to process information you are not authorized to use.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
ScaleBooth may use essential cookies or local storage to provide login, security, session and preference functionality. We may also use limited analytics or diagnostic technologies to understand product performance. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential technologies, we will request it before using them.
7. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform. Retention periods may vary by data type.
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including tenant separation and protection of saved integration credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. International processing
ScaleBooth and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection regarding your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
